Meet Esperanza, the most affectionate 3.5-year-old gal. Esperanza LOVES people. She wiggles all over when she gets to greet someone - even the vet. Her favorite place to be is laying right beside you where she can get all the pets. Esperanza is currently living with two other dogs and she loves to romp with her energetic foster brothers. She is looking for a home with older or no children (16+). She has taken quickly to playing fetch and loves to run for tennis balls in the backyard. Though she loves doggy play time, her foster thinks she'd do just fine as an only dog as well given her ability to entertain herself. Esperanza would like to meet any dogs in your home. Esperanza was a stray when she came into KC Pet Project, but she already knows "Sit" and is happy to work for treats. Her foster mom is working with her on coming when called and good door manners, and she's doing great. She would LOVE an active owner who continues to work with her on leash walks, basic obedience, etc.Esperanza is house trained and kennel-trained (though she requires a little bribery to go in her crate - (she'd so much rather hang out with her people!).Some of Esperanza's favorite things include quality time with a bone or squeaky toy, taking walks, and getting to meet new people.
