Hello, my name is Fern. I came to the Berkshire Humane Society when I was abandoned in their surrender room. I am a very sweet girl who has been perfect with everyone I have met. The kennel staff do believe I am a younger gal, only about 8 months old and boy do I show it. Right now I am hitting my adolescent punky stage and I like to try and push boundaries. When I get over stimulated I tend to try and mouth you. I am working hard to learn to keep my mouth to myself and on other things like toys. Because of my mouthing tendencies, I should go to an adult only home. I will need a very active home as I have a lot of energy to burn. I will require either hikes everyday or running and a home with another dog in it. I love going outside for my walks, sniffing all the snoofs, and running jet speed around the pen! I have been fully house trained since being here and walk beautifully on leash. I will require crate training in my new home as I am working very hard on it here at shelter.
