Meet Florence! Florence is a lovable and playful 6 month old 41lb Lab mix pup! Florence is definitely a favorite among the volunteers! She can be shy in the beginning but once she warms up is quick with her kisses. Florence is a very active pup and loves to play, especially outdoors. She enjoys long hikes/walks and playing fetch in the park. A home with a yard would be best for her, or a home near a park with a family who can give her lots of exercise! She has lots of toys that she plays with and loves chewing on them, especially her bones. Florence is very smart and is learning quickly. With a routine and consistency, learning basic skills and tricks won't be a problem for her! Florence is crate trained and almost fully house trained. She will let you know when she's got to go by bringing her leash to the door! She loves being a part of a family and is very good with kids. She gets along with other dogs very nicely as well. She has made some pup friends and looks forward to playing with them. Florence can be vocal at times and lets people know she's there. At the end of a long day she loves to cuddle up next to you and relax before going to bed. Florence has a great personality, she is friendly, loving, playful, and a-bit feisty.
