Adopt Frijole a Tan/Yellow/Fawn Labrador Retriever / Mixed dog in Austin

If you come to meet Frijole, this very friendly girl will greet you by softly sniffing your face. She loves to do that! Then she'll love to snuggle with you and get your petting and scratches. And if she's allowed on furniture, she'll curl up and cuddle with you. If you like going for walks, Frijole will also want to be your companion. In foster, her mornings and evenings start with leash walks. She's interested in other dogs she sees and very interested in meeting kids. Then back home she's very curious and loves patrolling the backyard, chasing some squirrels. She also enjoys playing with toys and chewing bones and rope toys. In between her activities, she wants cuddles and petting from her foster family. And she loves taking naps. Frijole is in foster with a female Pitbull mix and they get along great. They love to take naps near each other. She also has fun with her fosters' kids and has met some of their friends, happy when they pet her. This sweet girl takes treats nicely and responds to verbal corrections. She already understands 'sit.' She does well in her crate when her fosters are away from home and sleeps there all night. And she is house-trained. Frijole will love to move in with a semi-active family who can take her on adventures, but she also will be happy to just chill out at home. She gets along nicely with her dog buddy but can be fine as the only pup. She's wanted to chase cats on walks, so will do best without kitties. Come meet her. She'll sniff you and run home with you!
