Location: Maple Grove MN Hi I'm Genevieve! I am a shy girl, and it takes me a while to warm up to new people. But if you can be patient and show me that I can trust you, I promise I will be your best girl. My foster family is constantly laughing at my silliness! I'm doing SO well in my foster home now. What I need most is a family that can continue to work on my training to build my confidence with humans. I have grown so much already, but I need someone who will continue to teach me that many things in life are actually not that scary. With my foster family, I now know sit, down, stay, place, and come! I have also picked up Dog Word Buttons really fast - I learned how to press them in one day. So I am a fast learner! Who can keep helping me learn more of these cool things!? In my foster home, I live with 4 other dogs, and one is my bestie! I will need a home with at least 1 other dog to show me how to live with my new humans. I am much more trusting if I have another dog to guide me. I also live with 2 kids, 12 and 8 years old - while they move a little fast, I prefer watching them from the safety of my bed or kennel, and have gotten more comfortable with their fast and loud movements. I'm potty trained now, and completely kennel trained. Although in a new home, I might regress a little until I get comfortable again. I used to be really scared of walking on the leash, and now I happily trot alongside my foster family. I just love going on walks! My foster sister is Tesla, who is also available for adoption. It's rare that we'd suggest adopting two dogs at the same time, but we get along pretty great; that my foster family thinks we could be adopted together as long as our family continues to work on our training both together and separately. Also, my adoption fee has been fully sponsored! So you can put that money towards training. :) If you can provide me with the patience, love, and training to show me all that life has to offer, I promise to be the very bestest girl! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
