Meet Gibby! He is approx. 5 years and 9 months old! He is about 67 lbs. and Gibby is one of our longest residents here at Foothills Humane Society. He is a favorite among our kennel staff! Gibby came to us from an unfortunate previous home situation and can be a bit hesitant with new people. Once Gibby knows you, HE IS THE BIGGEST LOVE BUG! He is SUPER loving to those he knows. Gibby is OBSESSED with soft squeaky toys! If he could, Gibby would be covered in squeaky toys! Gibby is partially blind and has some vision issues. He is easy to walk and would be a great companion! Gibby isn't dog reactive. This is what his foster had to say: "Umm... HELLO! HI!! Gibby would like to know why nobody wants him?? Despite a rough start in life and a long stint in the shelter, Gibby is the ultimate GOOD BOI! House trained Perfect leash manners Best cuddler Non-destructive Crate trained Likes to give hi-fives Won't jump on you Sometimes it takes Gibby a minute to warm up to new people (especially men) but once you're in with him, YOU'RE IN! He is very loyal and wants more than anything to have a family to hang with and a yard to get out his zoomies! I've only been fostering him for a short time, but so far he has been great with everyone he's met and has made a few new doggo friends! At first he was very anxious and would cry when left alone but he has gained so much confidence in such a short time. The only vice I've found so far is that he is a bit too excited when it comes to cats. Get in touch with Foothills Humane Society if you're interested in adopting this sweet boy!"
