In case you can't tell from the picture, I'm an amazing, and handsome, young Collie mix. I love to be outside and get along well with cats, kids and other dogs. I'm very energetic and like to run and play, so a fenced yard is really ideal for me. I also like belly rubs, though, and will definitely sit still for that. As for the adult humans, I really like the ladies, but the men sometimes make me a little nervous. I'm fine once I get to know them but it usually takes a longer introduction. Then I'm sweet as can be!Full disclosure, I'm a little nervous in new situations and can be cautious. The nice people at the shelter think it's because my former owner wasn't very nice to me. But, I'm in a foster home right now with a great lady who's helping me deal with all my problems. If you're interested in giving me for a possible forever home, call the shelter first so they can arrange a meet.I'm a really good boy so you should check me out!Thanks to the 2023 Kia Pet Adoption grant, Gummie's adoption fee is $50.00.
