Gump was a stray traveling over 10 miles a day for at least two weeks in New Jersey. When he arrived, he was completely shut down and feral. He was scared of everything. We were unable to get even a leash on him. But we knew that Gump was in the right place: we could help him trust again. Look at Gump now! With a ton of patience, time, and love, we have slowly gained his trust enough to start walking him on a leash. After being at Pets Alive for some time, he now takes treats from his trusted people! Sometimes, he even sneaks a kiss. His circle of trust is small, but he gets braver every single week.
