Last week we received a plea from our good friends over at Pasco County Animal Services, about 2 dogs that needed immediate rescue due to declining mental states.You see, a shelter can be a very stressful place for a dog. Loud noises, barking, limited time out of their kennel, etc. All of these things can cause even the best of dogs to suffer from anxiety and stress. Hamilton is a good dog that ended up in a bad situation due to no fault of his own. He arrived at our shelter and now he needs home where they can feel safe, have consistency, and decompress from the stressful shelter life! Hamilton is 2 year old Mixed breed weighing around 60lbs. He has been in play groups at the shelter in the past but as of now we believe he will do best as the only pet. He has some separation anxiety and would do best in an adult only home, where someone can spend time with him to help him acclimate to home life! He also needs a fenced in backyard. Hamilton loves people and is eager to please and listen! He also enjoys human affection! He has been assessed by our dog trainer, and he passed all his behavior assessments! Now we just need to find them each a foster home! He is fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We provide all food, supplies, and medical care for the duration of the foster.
