Heidi girl is one spunky lady! She first came to her foster very timid and unsure of her surroundings. She was even more unsure of what it was like to be a dog. Through some confidence building and quality time, she has changed direction entirely! Heidi now comes when called, will sit when asked, nudge for some pets and will take any treats you have. She is a social girl these days, making friends with her foster siblings and learning to play! She does great with other dogs. She has shown interest in the cats, but doesn't pay much attention to them. She tolerates being around the 1.5 year old in her foster home. So we think she is well rounded to exist in just about any home, as long as the children are respective of her personal space. She is house trained and crate trained, she actually loves her crate. She knows when it's bed time or when her foster mom leaves the house and waits patiently by her crate door. She still tugs a bit on her leash, but with some more work she would be a wonderful walking partner. She is around 78 pounds now, and her foster mom is working to get those few extra pounds off of those large breed joints! Heidi lives for food and would be easily trained with treats. A fenced in yard and an active family will be the best fit for her. Heidi is spayed, current on all her shots, and microchipped.
