Dogs abandoned in shelters, dogs dumped in places no dog will survive and sadly Harvey was one of those stories. He lived for the last several months in the oilfields. A super remote area, he relied on the generosity of kind humans and managed to stay fed and alive because those Good Samaritans looked out for him. But as our summer months are upon us and the temperatures are reaching 100+ Harvey’s life was increasingly at risk. If the rising temperatures didn’t kill him the wildlife eventually would. Harvey needed a safe place to land and so that’s exactly what we gave him. Harvey is safe at our ranch. He’s incredibly sweet and kinda reminds us of The Dude from The Big Lebowski with his chill personality. Not much fazes him and he’s good with other dogs and all humans. He has a push/pull play style in play groups and walks like a dream on leash. His future adopter should have a secure and tall fence cause this boy has hops and can clear some fences when he isn’t being his normal chill self. Harvey is ready to find the perfect family who will never leave him to fend for himself again. He’s so lucky he had a village to look out for him and we want his good luck to continue so he finds a home of his very own.
