Adopt Hattie Mae Waller a White Pit Bull Terrier dog in Twin Falls

Location:
Twin Falls, ID
Description:

Hattie Mae is the sweetest little thing you ever did meet. I don’t know what to love more, her sweet personality, her tiny petite self, or her cute little face. The cutest thing about Hattie by far has to be her personality. Once she opens up she is so silly and affectionate. Hattie also has the cutest wiggle butt when she gets happy. Hattie is the type of dog that will be by your side through it all. Watch her video here: https://youtu.be/aJa5j6yrROw Hattie Mae is a pittie mix and is approximately 2 years old and only weighs about 45 lbs and is fully grown! She is a little bitty pittie and she is ready for her forever home! She is a rescue and with any rescue, breed and age is always a mystery but we do try to make our best guess. Hattie is very dog friendly and acts like a submissive newborn puppy when meeting new dogs for the first time. She will give them all the face kisses, roll over on the back and show them her belly and pretend to be as small as possible, almost as if she is begging for the other dogs to be her friend. She is the sweetest little thing and just wants to be loved by her people and other dogs. She would do best in a home with other dogs that are confident and moderately playfull. She doesn’t quite understand what rough play is yet and her sweet little self gets scared of it and she will pancake and pretend she’s invisible. No kitties for Hattie please, she was a little too interested in our resident cats during her cat test. She was not out to get the cats and can walk by them with no issues, but to be on the safe side, no kitties. Since Hattie is a rescue, she most likely does not have a lot of experience with normal doggie things such as walking on a leash, being in a crate, or even understanding that potty time is outside. She will need someone who will be understanding that she may need help learning how to be a dog again and what house manners are. With that being said, she will go into her doggy crate with some encouragement and from what we can tell she and our experience with her in the home she did not have any accidents. Hattie has a perfectly balanced energy. She is not too hyper and not too lazy. She will play for short bursts and have a ole time outside in the yard and then when it’s time to come to the side, she will happily hop on a nice dog bed or couch for quiet time. She would do best in home with a backyard or even a condo as long as she gets adequate exercise. She is more on the shy side when meeting people for the first time but it does not take long for her to feel comfortable and once she is she is very affectionate. Hattie is not mouthy or jumpy and we believe she would be a great addition to a family with little kids. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco• Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
