Heidi von Hofer is an adorable 12 week old German Shepherd mix puppy. Heidi is ready to become part of your pack! This very confident and well-socialized little gal can keep up with her big and little foster fur-siblings, enjoying a good romp in the yard, watching and learning from their every move, and finally settling down nearby for a rest from the action. Heidi is also the quintessential cuddle-bug, enjoying just as much to be snuggled in your lap as you relax for a good movie -- all the while showering you with wet puppy kisses. She has mastered use of the doggie door, and her foster mommy tells us she’s so good with her potty training! We can’t say enough wonderful things about sweet Heidi, from her loving, affectionate temperament to her beautiful disposition around all the family’s dogs. Like any healthy young puppy, she can be a bit mouthy, but easily directs to a fun game of tug-of-war. Our lucky little girl Heidi is being well cared for with ample hugs and cuddles in a loving foster home as she waits to meet you! THE DNA RESULTS ARE IN!! Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
