Meet Hogie. He's an energetic young pup that loves people, as well as dogs (females only please!). Hogie has manners too. He will sit for treats. Hogie participates in staff lead playgroups, and is a non stop player. He is a fun dog that is also really cute. He weighs approximately 50 pounds, not too big or too small, just right for cuddling (and he is really good at it). Hogie is waiting for his family. Come meet him today!Hogie recently went on a Dog Day Out! Here's what our volunteer had to say: Hogie was nervous at first. I decided to win him over with the best treat of all, McDonald's hamburgers! Hogie has been struggling to have an appetite because he is nervous in the shelter environment. Once we got hamburgers, he started to settle in. We then went to my private club/park. We went on a hike & did some errands. At this point he had settled right in. He rode well in the car & when given the option climbed in my lap for a cuddle. He wasn't interested in his toy but ate treats politely and was very tired. He walked well on his leash and comes to his name. He was very happy to get a pup cup at Starbucks. We went for another walk and he stopped to smell a lot. He is also great at snuggles once he knows you and gave wonderful kisses & cuddles.My ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possilbe. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays or who are harder to place find homes more quickly the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
