Handsome guy Hollan is definitely someone you want to know! This funny, fun loving dog is looking for his forever home. As much as he loves the staff here at ACCT Philly, he would much rather run and play with a ew family. Hollan loves to go outside and play but also likes to go for a walk. He will try to nip at your ankles when you walk him but that's just because he wants you to walk faster! Hollan is definitely not for a couch potato or someone who would rather watch Netflix than go to the park. Hollan wants to Go, Go, Go. If you are a confident dog handler and like to get outside then Hollan is the guy for you. Check out some notes from Hollan's shelter friends: On 4/26: The sweetest, most handsome boy!! Friendly and silly, loves to play with toys. Gets jumpy when stressed. This is usually before he goes out for his walk or playtime in the yard. On 5/14: Goofy and friendly boy! Would benefit from a confident handler who is familiar with active dogs. Super jumpy when first coming out of the kennel but does well after a walk and knows some tricks. Hollan is willing to show you everything that he has learned since a puppy and he is willing to learn more. On 5/15: What a fun boy! Hollan was soo excited to get out and about, was doing mini zoomies on leash and opened the door for himself on the way outside. He had lots of energy to get out, and loved running back and forth in the play yard. He loved playing with toys, would bring them back and hold them while asking for scratches. He loves being as close as possible, an extremely affectionate boy. He definitely could use some regular exercise, enrichment, and someone who is interested in doing some basic training as he's a big boy and is pretty jumpy. He does sit for toys however! He was so excited when we brought a toy back to kennel with him. Here are some notes from the Behavior Team: Hollan loves to chase tennis balls, and he will bring them right back! He dropped a couple at my feet, but would try to snatch the ball from me if I reached down to grab it. I just put my foot over the ball before picking it up and he didn't try to snatch it. He also trades for treats. Holland came right up to the door with soft eyes and a wagging tail. He sniffed the leash curiously through the door while I opened it. He was patient for leashing and came right out.
