Meet Honey, a fiercely proud 4.5 year old native New Mexican who relocated to Colorado since she knew the green chile gravy is better here. Although her heritage would lead you to believe she likes to be spicy, she is sweet as pie. Her hobbies include snuggling, giving and receiving smooches, as well as tug of war with her many toys. While partial to the Cook’s Country on Rocky Mountain PBS, she is very food motivated after all, she is amenable to a Netflix and chill evening provided some treats and/or shared couch time is involved.Honey has recently taken some adult education in her spare time and graduated from a 6 week training program. As such, she is house and crate trained. She has also been in therapy and knows better how to be emotionally available to be able to express all the love she has to give. She has so much love to give, however, she needs to be the only canine in residence. And under no circumstances, will she be able to tolerate a feline roommate. But don’t let that fool you, she isn’t as picky as she sounds. She welcomes warm and kind human roommates of all ages who will share their big yard where they can run and play together as a family.Given her refinement, Honey needs a family who is experienced with and understands what it means to adore a staffordshire bull terrier mix and the quirks that come with her genetics. Given this transition will be nuanced, Honey's therapist has agreed to offer support to ensure a positive transition into her new home. Come and get your love!##910389##
