Honey Bea was found as a stray by one of our foster families. Sadly, she was not chipped or reclaimed after several weeks. Although we can't say for sure her breed or age, she's young and very smart! She makes good use of her voice when she's excited, ready to eat, or needs to go outside. She was understandably scared and hesitant with people and other dogs at first, but now that she's settled in, she's a very happy girl. She can certainly entertain herself (and you) with just her toys but she also likes to play with other dogs (pawing, wrestling, running). She will toss her toys up in the air and run around the yard with them in her mouth. Her favorite lounging spots seem to be on the porch sunbathing or on the bed in between the pillows. She's a lover, not a licker, that likes to be by your side and will sometimes snuggle up too. The Basics Age: Estimated 1 yr Weight: 45 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines Up-to-Date: Yes On Heartworm Prevention: Yes House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes Leash Skills: Good on leash. Likes to run the yard or go for walks. Likes/Dislikes Toys: Loves to chew on bones and play with any kind of toy. Other Animals: Great with other well-behaved dogs. Has been tested around 8 other dogs in foster. Respects the 20lb alpha female boston in her foster home. Loves to flea bite and wrestle with the 70lb pitty/lab mix. Is more hesitant and reactive with the 80lb lab that has growled and snapped at her. People/Kids: Better for adults an older kids because she likes to pounce and paw when she plays and may knock over small kids. Car Rides: Great in the car. Separation: Doesn't mind separation.
