Est DOB: 1/8/22, GSD mix, female, currently 75 lbs +, spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, heart-worm negative and she is microchipped. Meet Honor! Honor is a gorgeous girl who was born into the rescue on Jan. 8, 2022. She has always been a happy, playful pup. A few months after being born Honor was diagnosed with Megaesophogus, a condition that affects the way food moves from her mouth to her stomach. Honor is just like any other dog except that she requires a special chair to sit in to eat. She has her own Bailey chair that she is trained to get in and out of it on her own that would go with her to her new family. She is a very smart girl and she does very well in her chair when she eats and stays for 20 minutes afterwards. Honor eats twice a day and has been eating Royal Canin. Honor’s Megaesophogus is easily managed with an inexpensive drug called Sildenafil. She gets 50 mg. a day. (25 mg in the a.m. and p.m.) Honor loves to play with her brother Haribo, who was also born with Megaesophogus. She enjoys walks and taking little dips in her foster family’s pool. Honor is affectionate, sweet and silly and likes to chase leaves and toss pine cones into the air. She is smart and very attentive and would be an amazing addition to any family. Honor is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, heart-worm negative and she is microchipped. Please consider making this adorable girl a member of your family.
