Hummer is a 3-year old, 80-pound, grey and white Bully mix who has been at the shelter since Apr 18. Hummer is a master of manners, potty trained and at ease in his crate. Sharing space is a breeze, as food is his friend and he's a seasoned car traveler. Leash walks have transformed into a pleasant pastime, and he's proving to be a sofa aficionado, with only a single playful slip. When it comes to solitude, he's the definition of cool, displaying no signs of separation anxiety.A velcro companion with a twist, he relishes proximity without clinging. Curious glances at kids hint at his potential for family harmony, as long as they're over 12 and embrace his shyness. A tail in perpetual motion, he expresses his joy through kisses once the ice is broken. His initial shyness melts away, revealing an affectionate heart.Unfamiliar sounds once startled, but daily outdoor jaunts have toughened him up. His fascination with fellow canines is undeniable, although feathered and furred critters spark a chase. In the realm of feline-free abodes, he shines.
