Jake is our sweetheart. He was found in early January of this year. He was emaciated and found tied to a pole near the side of the road in freezing temperatures. His rescuer spent some time with him and took him in for medical attention after finding him. Jake has made a full recovery and learned how to be a dog again! He now weighs 60 pounds, has lots of energy and love to give. Jake would do well in a home with older, respectful children, and a slow introduction with a calmer dog. He has done well with a female pittie we have worked with. He is slightly territorial of his toys and his food, so boundary work would need to be enforced. Jake may take a little work, but he is just as deserving of a loving and happy home to call his own. If you are interested in adopting Jake, please fill out a pre adoption form on our website. All resident animals must be UTD on all annual vaccines as well as spayed/neutered. All potential housemates must come for a meet and greet to ensure that it`s a good fit!
