Meet Jane! Jane was adopted from us in early 2023, but found her way back to us after her famiy decided that it wasn`t going to work out. Before Jane was adopted, she was a social butterfly and loved everyone she met. She has been very anxious meeting new people since she has come back. Jane is 1 year and 8 months old. She is young, and has never known consistency or a family of her own. This can take an extreme mental toll on a dog. We have been working on socializing Jane with new people, and she has shown improvement. However, being at a shelter that is full of other dogs, it is hard for Jane to relax and feel safe. She loves to spend time with her favorite volunteers and staff members. She loves to play fetch and go for walks. Jane is a cattle dog mix, which is a very high energy, working breed. She will need plenty of stimulation, and she will require a fenced in yard, due to her breed`s high prey drive she will chase birds, squirrels, any small animal! She is a loyal and loving lady once she trusts you. Jane deserves a second chance at a happy, stable life. She will need to be the only pet in the home, and in a home with no children, or older respectful children. If you are interested in adopting Jane, fill out a pre adoption application on our website.
