Jasi is an itty bitty pitty who has come out of her shell since leaving Chicago Animal Care and Control! She's a goofball who does "Ta-Da"s on her walk as we call it! All of a sudden she stops, rolls around in the grass like crazy and gets back up so proud of herself and continues walking along like nothing happened! She is also the perfect morning and evening cuddler. She likes to sit in her foster mom's lap in the morning on the couch while we have coffee and wake up and she likes to curl up in the lap on the couch at night while her foster mom has a glass of wine... be aware, while cuddling, this girl SNORES like nobody's business! She loves her 'tug tug' toy outside and will do flips and zoomies for it! Jasi has a bark like no other... a 'turkey bark'... not quite the pittie bark you're used to! This girl is not a barker though - only a protector. Very few things does she bark at in the home, only 'protects' when my resident boy 'protects'. She also loves her food in her snuffle mat - every day she's snuffling! She will sit in her crate while you fill her snuffle up with food, she's such a patient girl! She's sweet, loves to give kisses and loves to curl up with you but is a bit of an attention hog! Jasi is still working on 'leave it'...she's doing great with leaving those pesky squirrels unless they're within reach (thank gosh because my arm was killing me!) but she's still working on leave it with seeing other dogs in the neighborhood. She's a friendly outgoing girl but doesn't understand that not everyone wants to meet her (I don't get it either Jasi!). She would does best on a consistent potty schedule. When we are 'off' of our schedule, she tends to have an accident. Jasmina is in a foster home with a giant breed male, with whom she gets along. She’s still working on coexisting with the resident cat - she’s curious, but not ready to roam with a cat just yet. So this would take some work for a home with a cat or cats. Jasi would thrive in a home with another dog her size or larger to show her the ropes. She is a loose leash walker in general and does great with directions - she knows 'left', working on 'right' and 'straight' for walkies! She also knows sit, working on stay and come. She does great on a long line in the yard where she can be the neighborhood watch. This girl gets more time in the sun in our living room windows and yard, more than any other girl I know. She will be your shadow, your best friend and your work buddy! I absolutely love this girl and would keep her if I could!
