Hi, I’m Jupiter. My foster family calls me Mama, because I was taken into rescue as a stray with my 9 puppies! I’m a young girl… probably no more than a year and half. I’m a lean, 47-50 lbs. I like to run and play and I’m good friend to any dog. I am not a fan of cats but do enjoy chasing them.Since I’ve been in foster, I’ve really shown how smart I am. And training me is easy because I will do anything for treats. I already know how to “sit” “stop” “jump up” “down” and I also know how to lay down, turn, heel and stop, but I make sure to get a treat for that effort.I’m housebroken and can use a doggie door, if you have one. I love most any kind of toy and am the best fetcher around. I see lots of my fellow dogs who chase the ball once and lose interest. Not me. I’ll play fetch as long as you want. I love a good chew bone or two – even Nyla bones work for me. I’m very good at learning what I can and can’t chew on. If you really want to make my day, give me a Kong with peanut butter or treats inside.I wasn’t familiar with leashes until recently, but I’m learning fast and love to go on walks with my foster brother and sisters. I don’t shed much, which seems to make humans very happy.I would do best in an active household. I have youthful energy that needs to be released. A nice yard with dog friends and a human who enjoys daily walks or runs sounds perfect. Once I get settled into your home, I shouldn’t need to be crated, but I do take my meals inside my crate.What’s not to love? I’m obedient, easy to train, super sweet, playful and I sleep soundly when it’s bedtime. Couch time with my human is fun too and I’m a great cuddle buddy.
