Kenny couldn't tell me his name, but he was wearing a beaded necklace that had his name on it. He wishes that the family that gave him this necklace would come back for him. Getting to know him I find it difficult to understanding why they haven't. Kenny is such a GOOD BOY! Kenny is a 10 month old 58 pound terrier pit mix that came to Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/7 as a stray. He is not neutered. You might say he's a southern gentleman with really gentle manners. He doesn't jump on you. He stayed close for loving attention. He came wagging his tail when I called him. He even wanted to get on my lap ! He sits for treats and takes them gently. He's alert and checked out the activity beyond the gate. He walks relatively well on a leash. He wagged his tail and went nose to nose with other dogs. He's gentle, laid-back, friendly, and very sweet. There's no doubt he would be a loyal companion. He's looking for a family to love that will love him back. He wants to be an inside dog and included in family activities. As well mannered as he is, you would be proud to take him out in public!
