LOCATION: Friendswood, TexasDOB: 06/05/2017 (Estimate)Hey y’all! My name is Kountry and I’m lookin’ to join up with a new pack. See, my current folks have a situation which is requiring me to relocate. So I am ready to make my way either right here close to home in the beautiful State of Texas or across these United States of America to find a new place to lay my head. I will be of no trouble to anyone and I can get along with pretty much everyone. Dogs, cats, kids (I’ve lived with four) and new people do not bother me in the least. I love to cuddle on the couch with kiddos after school. I’m a very sweet and loving dog with no aggressive tendencies. I do like to play hard, though, with my foster furry sibling who is also a Great Dane. I’ve heard the terms “gentle” and “socialized” and a “Dane leaner” to describe me. I’d guess that sums me up pretty good. I would not classify myself as a Velcro Dane though. I do not counter surf, jump on the bed, or eat my dog bed. And I know Sit, Lay Down, and Shake. I also know how to sit when my person is putting on my collar.Being in those fancy auto-mobiles suits me fine, although I am just as happy to go on a walk about on my leash. I do find there are many interesting smells though and I will pull my way whichever way my nose takes me. And did you know that stairs are sooo fun? Up, down. Up, down. I love them!I would never think to do my business anywhere but outside in the wide open green grass. Sometimes when I’m home by myself, I miss my people a lot and start to scratch at stuff. But I will easily go into my kennel if that suits everyone better. I might whine a bit, but it’s just cuz I have a nice singing voice.
