Kyro's Bio Kyro is an 8 year old, long legged poodle who weighs 11 pounds. He was found as a stray and picked up by the Guadalupe County Animal Control. He did have a microchip however, his owner did not want to reclaim. We're not sure why because he's such a sweet, loving boy. He must've been out on his own for a little while because he is very thin and could stand to put on a few pounds. He also had flea dermatitis which caused some hair loss. He was taken to the vet and put on an antibiotic and Bravecto. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, micro chipped, and has Proheart 12, which is a heartworm preventative, good for 12 months. He is in a foster home and gets along great with other dogs. It is unknown if he reacts to cats, however with his gentle nature, we anticipate it would not be a problem. The same with children. He enjoyed getting brushed, and was a complete gentleman during his spa day. He does not shed, but will need regular grooming. Kyro does not like being in a crate, he will bark. He is house trained however, he hasn't figured out the doggie door yet. He sleeps on a chair or in the fosters bed. Kyro enjoys being outside and is not a barker. He does like going for walks. He enjoys laying next to you and belly rubs. You couldn't ask for a sweeter dog. adoption fee $300 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with the foster to set up a meet and greet. We are a foster based RESCUE, not a shelter. All of our dogs are in individual foster homes. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
