Say hello to the beautiful Miss Lady Bird! Lady Bird is a gorgeous adult hound mix and weighs 85 pounds. She was found outside of a restaurant in Uvalde, Texas walking up to anyone and everyone looking for food and some love. Thankfully she was rescued from life on the street and now she is looking for her forever home! She has been cared for at a vet clinic in Uvalde for about a year now, just looking for her perfect family. Could that be you? Lady Bird is excited to be around people! Big, small and everyone in-between. She is so full of love and just wants to be close to someone who will show her love in return. She’s big in size and has a heart to match! She kind of thinks she’s a lap dog, like a little “teacup pup”. Although with Lady Bird, she’s more of an extra-Grande, triple-Venti, cover you in hugs and kisses kind of dog. There is just more of her to love! Lady Bird gets along well with the feline friends she has met but doesn’t care as much for dogs. She would do well in a home with a family where someone is home regularly and can give this beautiful girl the time and love she deserves. If you work from home, she would be an amazing office assistant...although she’d probably the first one to cancel the Zoom meeting in lieu of a walk. Can you blame her? We just love this sweet girl and can’t wait for her to find her forever home! Lady Bird tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives.
