Lamar is an all around very good boy. House trained, dog friendly, good leash manners, down for a round of fetch, and an A+ cuddler. Recently a volunteer took him out and noted the following: “Lamar was very spunky and playful in the yard. In the real life room he enjoyed scratches and climbed into my lap for a cuddle session before letting me know he was ready to go.” Lamar has participated in playgroups at the shelter, so has the potential to live with a well matched doggie sibling. If you are looking for a playful pup to take on adventures, this boy would love to meet you!I saw in your last email that you will be leaving the shelter soon. I have not been volunteering for long, but it was always clear how much you cared about the pups. I`m sure your role is not particularly easy, but I appreciate how responsive you have always been.
