I've been fostering this beauty for a number of days now and believe she is ready to meet her forever person/people. She is a 7 mo old, female, shepherd mix. Wherever she spent her first months of life made her very fearful & shy, but she is super gentle and starting to realize people can be trusted & life can be great! It may take a little for her to warm up to you but once she does, she is very loving & loyal. Leela does very well in the car, walks great on a leash, is fully housebroken and crate trained. She'll even go into her crate on her own every once in a while, to chill. She is ok with cats & other dogs. She will need to meet any dogs or children that her people may have at home. If you might be interested in making me a part of your family, please go to www.northwoodshumanesociety.org then to the adoptable animal's page and fill out the dog adoption form. Once the staff has approved, you can call and make an appointment to meet me. If you already have a preadoption form on file, just give the office a call at 715-634-XXXX to make an appointment to come and meet me.
