Leo has a sponsored adoption fee for 1/2 off his adoption! When he first arrived, it was hard to get a read on his personality because he was in survival mode. Some dogs adjust better than others to the noisy hustle and bustle in the kennels, but Leo was unfortunately not handling things well. He is now in a foster home! One of our incredible volunteers immediately fell for this hunky guy and started taking him on adventures and to her home for visits. When Leo is with her away from the shelter, we see his true self. He walks very well on leash and has an adventurous side. His time outdoors seems to be his happiest because he is away from the noise of the kennels. Leo loves the calm and peace he finds outside and at his volunteer friend's home. This boy is very food motivated, which we love for training purposes. He seems to have great house manners already! Give him time to decompress so he can really show his personality and you will see his loving affectionate side. He is very cuddly and will rub his body against you and ask for attention. He does also have a playful spirit and loves rolling in the grass and playing with toys.
