Meet Lily! 🌸 She loves cushions, corners and smaller spaces; peanut butter kongs and treats; soft, sweet voices; playing with toys; watching the sun rise in the morning, guarding the house and yard. She has played well with her puppies and a younger male dog in her foster home, so she is A++ with other doggos! 🐶 Some of the things that she does not like are… feeling like she is in trouble, fireworks, thunder, sudden noises, leashes, or harnesses. She tends to be very sensitive to voice tones and volumes. The perfect home for her would be a calm, quieter environment. She's never had any issues with the older children in her foster home. The best home for her would have children 10 year old and up! ⭐️ She will sit when asked to with a treat, but does a great job of coming when called (unless she's afraid that she's in trouble). 🙃 Lily is a very sweet girl, that just needs a lot of love and patience. ❤️ A family who is Consistent, and dedicates time spent to help train her, would be helpful. 🐾 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate.
