Let's Welcome Luke to the rescue.... Luke is currently in the Midwest... We are looking for family to adopt or foster to adopt this sweet guy...Luke is around 10 months old. He is on the smaller side, as his current weight is around 40 pounds. Luke is a Shepherd mix. He is very social and friendly but of course will need training for some basic manners. Luke did test positive for heartworm.The rescue will cover all medical treatment for his heartworm plus his neuter once heartworm free.Please note heartworm treatment is around 120 days with frequent vet trips for injections. We would need someone flexible to make sure Luke has access to the vet when needed. We would love to bring Luke up this month once a placement has been found for him.
