At the shelter, LUKE is:Friendly/Outgoing with volunteers, staff & strangersRelaxed/Playful with Adults.Playful with other similar size dogs/”dog tester” at shelterEnjoys going on offsite walks with volunteers Easy to walk/handle on walksGood Leash Skills Enjoys Pets by volunteers Engaging /medium energyMakes good eye contact Good listener Loves to play fetch Gives bear hugs Knows sit command and takes treats gently Enjoys car rides (went on furry field trip with volunteer)LUKE has been kenneled with different dogs at the shelter. He has not been tested with small dogs. Slow & proper intro to dogs & kids. Best home for LUKE is with a family with or without another compatible dog, house with enclosed, secure yard (no apt). LUKE is eligible to attend free & unlimited training classes with Pawsforlife K9 Rescue @ the People and Pets Innovation Center in Mission Hills, CA.
