07/22/23 14:15Reason animal needs rescue: Needs rescue due to extended shelter stayImpound type: StrayAdditional notes: See above notesAJ08/31/23 15:17SVPP Dog Day Out:Went on a 2.5 mile hike at Almaden Lake. I really like to sniff and explore, and I need breaks every so often.My walking partner brought a couple of chew treats for me. I ate those while taking breaks. I said hello to some people playing bocce ball. I’m verygentle and everyone who meets me says what a good boy I am. Luke now jumps in the car right away. I roll down the back windows and he really enjoys all the smells in the air. Easy walking partner. We sat and watched other dogs walk by. He’s friendly, but we still keep our distance.08/24/23 09:13SVPP Dog Day Out:went on a 3 mile hike at Almaden Lake. I love sniffing everything and seeing all the wild life. My walking partner thinks Imight be part cattle dog. I`m curious when I see other doggy friends, but I`m polite, and can sit when asked to let them go by while I watch. I like treats so I`m easy to train. I used to be scared of getting into the car, but now that I know it takes me tofun places, I`m ready to jump in. I ride well in the car, and enjoy the smells in the air if the windows are rolled down. I`m a happy boy in every situation, and nothing weighs me down.Luke is a wonderful dog. He`s just the right amount of energy level, and a 3 mile hike is enough for him before he gets tired andhe`s ready to lay down and work on a chew. He threw up in the car after a pup cup so no dairy for this boy.08/21/23 12:29SVPP Dog Day Out Notes:Went to Almaden Lake for a 3.5 mile walk. I did a lot of sniffing, saw lots of wild life, people and other dogs. I said hello to the Bocce ball players. I greeted them politely without jumping and got lots of love. When I saw other dogs passing by, I stayed with my human friend, but I just wanted to say hi.Didn`t want to get in the car from the shelter, but jumped right in after the walk. Walks well on leash,slightly pulls toward other dogs. But seems more curious, no barking, or lunging or any negative reaction.Loves to sniff. Loves treats.Might be part herding mix, because wanted to sprint after runners and bikers,but it was a very slight pull.Very well behaved boy!06/16/23 16:03SVPP Dog Day Out Notes:rode in the car and went on a 4 mile walk at Shady Oaks Park.
