Lumber is a gentle boy who would love to lumber away from the shelter and into a home. Here’s what one volunteer said about him:“Lumber is a sweet boy who sure could use a soft place to land away from the shelter! He was easy to leash and we got going on our walk. We made our way over to a grassy area to sit and snuggle. This boy has scabs and bumps and lumps all over his little body. He appreciated scratches and gentle touch on his head, chin, chest and back. On our way back he stalled out; he seemed to know we were going back to his kennel and he was not interested!”Lumber has valley fever and would love to find a foster or adoptive home where he can get the care he needs. He’s on the right medical regimen now and just needs a family to call his own! Lumber has been nervous when meeting other dogs in the shelter, so would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Lumber today!
