Hi, I’m Mabel! It’s hard for me to be stuck in a kennel all the time when I have so much energy to run and play. I would love for someone active to take me on long walks or runs everyday! Here at the shelter, I love to cool off in one of our doggie pools after I run around in the play yard. One time I got to spend a couple of nights at my volunteer bestie’s apartment, and she told me she would have kept me forever if she didn’t already have a cat. I was a pro at zipping up and down the stairs when we went for walks, and I was a pawesome car passenger on the way to our adventures! At home I entertained myself quietly with toys and got as many snuggles as I could. Sometimes I can get along with other dogs, but I would really be happiest as your one and only. I promise I’ll give you all the love and entertainment you could want! I will “sit” for treats and would love to learn more tricks - if you take me home, you’ll have access to free training vouchers through Friends of AAC! I’m so ready to find my furever home and family.
