Oh, hello, my name is Maeve. I am a one-year-old terrier mix that is so relieved to be at the shelter. You see I was with my family and another dog. Things were going just great or so I thought. One day I noticed that the "hooman" family was loading up their furniture and belongings to move. Well OK, I guess that was fine. I can be flexible and move to a new location. Problem was, after everything was moved out my family left me and my other dog friend in the apartment, locked the door and left! We were very worried and didn't know when they were coming back. Finally after many days we heard a key in the lock and we just knew it was our family. As it turned out it was someone who had come to clean the apartment. When she found us, she brought us to the shelter. I was very thin, but I have been getting good nutritious food and lots of love. I have also gotten all of my vaccinations, I got a microchip, and I was spayed. I know with the help of the shelter I can find a great new home with a family I can count on for the rest of my life!
