Maggie is just the sweetest 7 year old German Shepherd with a gentle soul & kind heart. We're not sure she's ever truly been loved. Maggie has had chronic ear infections because her previous owner wouldn't clean her ears or give needed meds to resolve the issue. Instead, he wanted to euthanize her. One of her ears will never stand up again. It's called a cauliflower ear. This doesn't bother us as we think she is beautiful just the way she is!! Maggie's ears are being treated once a week by the vet and are much better. At this point the vet thinks the infections will resolve and she won't need daily/weekly meds but may need her ears monitored/cleaned frequently by her forever family. Maggie is such a good girl and deserves a loving family. She loves to give her foster parents kisses when she gets excited. She does not like to go potty in the rain but will as long as her people are with her. Maggie likes to play and run a bit in the yard when it's sunny and dry, but prefers to be inside in the cool air conditioning. We think she would do okay with another older dog (with proper introduction) but may prefer to be an only dog. She doesn't like other dogs in her face wanting to play as she is pretty chill.
