Meet Maple! She is a 4-year-old brown and white Pit Bull Terrier mix who has undergone a remarkable transformation from a nervous shelter dog to a bundle of fun. Maple's journey is a testament to her resilience and her eagerness to embrace life to the fullest. Maple loves to get out of her kennel and into a play yard to get out her energy and to relieve herself (we believe she is housetrained!). While in the yard she was very happy to run around and was eager to receive treats. She would sit very nicely for them and be gentle taking them as well! With toys she enjoys chasing them but doesn't quite understand bringing them back, but she does return back to you with her tail wagging happily. Come visit Maple during our adoption hours, 12 pm - 4 pm, every day but Tuesday, at the Guilford County Animal Shelter!
