Marlin might be straight from a Pixar movie. His round, puppy eyes and thick, wiggly body always make him look like a cartoon character come to life—and, he has the personality to match! He`s silly, sweet, clumsy, fun, playful, and so much more.Marlin recently went on a little outing with a volunteer friend and was described as `such a gem.` He was easy to get into and out of the car (with a few treats for encouragement).Outside of the stress of the shelter Marlin is an easy, loose leash walker. He was calm passing by people, bikes, and dogs on a busy trail. He enjoys sniffing around to see what treats he can find, but checks in often with his handler. Marlin can be a strong puller on a leash sometimes—he just gets so excited to go on an adventure—but walks nicely with his harness, and will do just about anything for a few treats for encouragement. Marlin`s silly side comes out when he gets to romp around a play yard. Seeing this square boy bounce around is one of the most entertaining sights to see! He loves fetch, he loves the pool, and he loves running along the fence with his dog friends. Getting his attention back from one of these very fun activities is easy, he just needs a few treats for encouragement.Marlin is looking for a home with a family that wouldn`t mind a nearly 70lb lap dog. A yard for zoomies and a baby pool for swimmies wouldn`t hurt either!
