Welcome Marshmallow to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Marshmallow is a 3-month-old Border Collie and Australian Heeler mix is our best guess. He is 3 months old and weighs about 12 pounds. He may weigh 40 pounds is our best guess. He is independent and great with other dogs. He entertains himself and doesn’t have to be with his person every minute. This will be nice for someone who doesn’t want too clingy of a dog. He would be great from someone wanting a nice companion. He was very attentive to his surroundings and unlike his brother he just chilled out under the tree and waited for his time to get photos done. He really liked the big Red Boned Coon hound that he met today at the rescue. He is a smart breed and will be a fun puppy to have and one that is less demanding than some pups. He and his brother were dumped on the side of the road as a tiny puppy. A good Samaritan found them and keep them several months getting them ready for adoption. Someone not working 8 hours a day would be best as he needs to finish up his training. Another dog would be nice or someone with the time and patience to train a puppy. He has had two rounds of puppy shots and will have the 3rd before leaving the rescue. Marshmallow has been dewormed and is doing wonderful in his home. He would be fine with children as he is currently living with 5 children, other dogs and cats. He is good with all of the above. He is currently in Texas looking for his forever home. He can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200.
