Meet Maurice! This sweet and sensitive guy is desperate for a loving and understanding home. He needs an adopter who roots for the underdog. Someone who understands that some dogs take a little longer to get used to a new environment. Maurice is a sweet boy with lots of love to give. He's cautious about opening his heart to just anyone and wants to make sure that his adopter is a forever love type of person. Once he gets to know you, Maurice is very affectionate and will even give you kisses. He's timid with new people at first and always looking over his shoulder to make sure he's safe. We feel that once he's in a stable and cozy home he will come out of his shell and show off his playful and goofy side. Maurice is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home with his new family.We do have a 'slumber party' program which allows you to take a dog home before adopting to see if they are a good fit for your family.
