My in-law's lived out in the country. This dog showed up one day when he was a pup. He always hung around and never went back where it came from. When they moved, we decided to take him home.He had all the worms when we got him, but we've very much taken all of the precautions and vet visits to keep him happy and healthy.He is about 7 - 7 1/2 years old.He knows sit, lay down, stay, eat, and 'give me a hug.'He is a sweet boy that wants love and ear rubs. Loves his chew toy, but does not chew household anything. Prefers to hang with his alpha (me), but that's just the breed. Does not really like other dogs in overwhelming situations, but we have never really tried to socialize him to much. Sometimes is cool with other dogs, depending how invasive they are.Does not like cats. Has never even tried to bite anyone (adult or child) no matter the type of interaction (play, neighborhood walk, etc.).We are looking for someone that will provide a good and loving environment for him.
