Meet Melody. This sweet girl is about 7 months old born in May of 2022 we estimate. She currently weighs about 35lbs and we guess she will grow to be around 40 lbs when she is full size.Melody and her Mermaid siblings had a rough start, they were found abandoned and all alone in a garbage pile outside of Todos Santos Mexico in late July. The first week we had them we found out the whole litter had parvo and a very contagious fungus, honestly we were not sure these pups were going to make it, but luckily they pulled through. After 2 months of quarantine and daily baths these sweet puppies were ready to move to our shelter where they have been growing and thriving ever since.They are 100% healed and have no long-term health problems from the fungus or parvo and are ready to go home to their new families.Currently Melody is in La Paz, Mexico at our shelter. Melody loves to hangout with other dogs and lay in the sun all day but we think she would really love a home of her own. She loves attention and meeting new hoomans. After a potential adoptive home is found or foster home we can bring her in no more than 15 days to the PNW.Melody's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $450USD.This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico
