Millie will be spayed and ready to go to her new home the end of the month. "Hi there! They call me Millie and I came here on July 28. I'm a pretty boxer mix about 11 months old. I have expressive eyes and cute ears that fly in the breeze. I hope I don't have to stay here long. Since I'm still a young pup, I should be in a home, not alone in a loud kennel! I long for a family that will always be kind to me. I was not always treated the best, so I can be a bit timid when I first meet you...and will duck if there is a quick movement. But, after a few minutes of gentle pets and kinds words, I am happy. (Treats work too! I LOVE treats and I take them very gently). I never growl or act cross. I walk good on a leash and am eager to learn new things! More than anything, I want a family who is loving, gentle and calm. I like to play, but REALLY like to snuggle close and feel the warm hugs from a good person. I get along with other kind dogs and will be good with kiddos.
