My name is Molly, and I'm a sweet, affectionate, smart, playful, loyal, as well as beautifully marked 35-pound harlequin American Staffordshire Terrier/ Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix gal with a cute white tail-tip who was born around May 2019. I'm easy to please because I like all ages of humans, especially women and children. I've interacted well with my 11 year old foster human as well as her younger friends, which explains why we Staffies are often called "nanny dogs." I love walks, and that's when I meet other dogs. I'll let them sniff me and wag my tail but don't play with them. I prefer having fun with my humans as well as just being lazy around the house with them. As you can see from my photo, I'm a character who even practices my "downward dog" yoga pose on a whim. We Staffies are renowned for being happy, smart, loyal, and confident dogs. We're usually game for anything and lovable 'personality dogs' around the house. We like mental and physical challenges. We're highly trainable. I have learned to behave well on command, on the leash and to use the doggy door. I don't chew on your stuff but prefer dental bones and ice cubes. My foster mom found me wandering the mean streets of Houston as a heartworm-positive stray. No worries, though, I have finished all of my medication and will test negative soon. Molly is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, and microchipped.
