Meet Nakoma, a smart, affectionate little 38 pound guy with spunk. Having some beagle means Nakoma would do best in a fenced environment so he doesn't follow his nose and get lost. Nakoma is affectionate, fully housetrained and won't chew your shoes or furniture. I leave him unkenneled in my home without worry-he does not have separation anxiety. Nakoma knows basic commands. I adopted Nakoma from the Jackson County Animal Shelter over 2 years ago. I unfortunatley learned he is not tolerant of other dogs when he attacked a puppy (the puppy is fine and thriving). He also is NOT tolerant of children.Nakoma would be ideal for the person who spends time at home and does not want to travel with a dog. I have boarded him a couple of times and he does fine at the kennel with their knowledge that he is dog reactive.He is reactive to other animals when in a vehicle but will settle in and sleep a lot of the time.His rehoming will include pillow, complete vet records, food and dishes,and toys.
