Nova means "new", and it perfectly describes our goofy, happy-go-lucky girl. After being stuck in the shelter for 15 months as part of a cruelty case, Nova is ready to have a new beginning. She is 3 years old and 65 lbs. Nova has won the hearts of many shelter volunteers and staff because of her resilient bubbly personality. She is that dog who is always smiling and wagging her tail. A stranger is just a friend she hasn't met. She is a clown but also a house hippo who can be a total couch-potato. She likes to be in the "pack" either with people or dogs or preferably both. Nova is keenly observant, smart, and learns fast! She is attending doggie school to learn basic commands. She is also crate trained, house trained, and great on leash. Nova is currently in a foster home with three other dogs and is loving life. We want her to be just as happy in her new home. She loves people and dogs of all ages and sizes. Her foster can only keep her a little bit longer due to other obligations and we really would love for her to find a home vs going to boarding which would be a setback and make her very sad.
