Ollie is an amazing 10-month old boy. He was abandoned in Dulce, NM, but stayed close to home and was fed by neighbors until we could take him in. He is a beautiful silver brindle with a muscular cattle dog / bully dog build, lots of speed and agility, and a willing and happy disposition. Loves to play with other dogs, run, and play with toys. Loves people but is still learning we don’t play like dogs. Enjoys just being close and walks pretty good on leash (he walks in tandem with his foster sister pup about same age)We were so curious about Ollie's genetics that we had his DNA tested. He is a 16-way boy with subequal amounts of Pit Bull Terrier and Shar Pei (17-18% each), subequal amounts Great Dane, Staffordshire Terrier, Bulldog, Australian Cattle dog, and German Shepherd (7-10% each), about 5% each Husky and Chow Chow, and about 2% each Boxer, Doberman and Chihuahua plus a few other things! Altogether he is 100% very good American All-Breed Dog!Ollie is around 40 lbs and though he has very big feet , he isn’t putting on much weight though he eats well and plays hard. He wants to please but had no training at all and is still learning basic things. He knows sit, search, and cookie! Does tend to jump when excited and is a counter investigator inside, but is mostly confined in house because of other dogs and cats. He tends to think most objects are toys though he has been good in his confined space and is house-broken. His foster family loves him and would keep him if they didn’t already have three dogs 3 years and younger. Also their oldest male isn’t happy to have another male in his pack, though Ollie has been very submissive ( but playful). We think Ollie will do best in a home with another dog or two and a patient loving family who will appreciate his sweet but rambunctious nature. He is curious about cats but not aggressive— just a bit invasive for some cats.Ollie is neutered and UTD on DAPPv and rabies. He is an uncut gem who will shine with the right training and love.
