My name is Oreo McFlurry. I have earned myself quite a reputation at theshelter for being top playgroup dog. I love being rough and rowdy with theenergetic ones, but I also get along just as well with the gentleplaygroup. The Humane Society has always felt that I would do best in ahome where I can get lots of excess energy out, but it wasn’t until I gotinto my foster home that I was able to show my extensive array of goodqualities.Aside from being a shelter staff favorite as well as a KWTX media star, Iam showing my true colors as man’s best friend. Recently I came into afoster home with another pup, 4 kids, and a big yard.Not to brag, but my first night there I slept in a crate in the laundryroom all by myself with zero fuss (only just a little extra coaxing to getme in because I would rather sleep next to you).I still love to run around and play, but surprisingly, I really love beinga homebody and spending time with my people. Whether it is a 4 year-old orthe head of the house, I will follow you anywhere as long as I can be atyour side. I spend every waking moment at someone’s feet just looking forcompanionship and an occasional pet if you have a moment.I love to nap all day next to the computer but will be just as excited asany other dog when it comes time for a walk or running laps. I have alwaysbeen worried at the shelter that people think I am too much energy, but itjust isn’t the case. I mimic the energy of the room, and would do greatbeing a study buddy, work from home companion, play buddy with kids andother dogs, or just about any type of companion you need as long as youcould take me for a few walks a day if you do not have a yard.My current foster family loves me and want to see me in my perfect foreverhome. Please consider adopting me. I promise I will prove to be the mostloyal friend you could ever ask for!
